From the moment we booked with Dave, he was super efficient and helpful and this continued throughout our stay when we needed any local recommendations from him. The villa is absolutely beautiful, in the most stunning location with incredible views. It almost felt like staying in a boutique hotel as all the furniture and fittings were all of a high quality and the attention to detail was so impressive. We had a really lovely welcome hamper on arrival, with some chilled wine and beers to help us cool down after a long hot journey, along with food for breakfast which was really appreciated. The bedrooms were all big, and the views from the bedrooms were incredible. It was about a 30 minute walk to the waterfront in the old town but it was worth it as the villa had so much space with incredible views. The pool was really warm and the sunloungers really comfortable. All the crockery and utensils appeared to be almost new and the vast array of wine glasses was appreciated! Cafe Vita is just a few minutes walk away and served very good Lavazza coffee- would recommend their cooked English breakfasts! Our favourite restaurants in Kalkan were Seaport, Doy Doy, Aubergine and Sade. Would highly recommend a trip to Saklikent gorge to go tubing and our kayaking trip to the Sunken city near Kas was a real holiday highlight.

Would highly recommend. Great communication with owner, easy transfer. The villa is in the best location possible. We arrived late, fell asleep outside on the loungers and woke up to a view that you could never get bored of. The kitchen was nice and spacious, the only thing we used was the fridge, the local restaurants are amazing, never had such good food and service anywhere else, Kalkan know customer service, they have it nailed. 4am finishes at Cafe Vita just down the road from the villa eventually catch up with you! Especially when your leaving at 9am for the airport! But that’s Mustafa, I would highly recommend this bar and restaurant. Everything about our weeks stay was perfect. Thanks once again Dave, will definitely be booking your villa again, thanks for all the info leading upto to a great week.

We arrived late at night and it was so nice to find the welcome pack in the fridge. We enjoyed a late night Efes by the pool! What a view from the villa even at night.

What a fantastic view we woke up to. The villa position is fantastic with loads of space inside and out. Very well equipped and spacious for 6 people. Lovely sun loungers and several place to sit and take in the view.

This is our second time in Kalkan, we had to come back to this pretty and friendly place. There are so many restaurants within walking distance. We had brilliant food and service. All of us have had a wonderful time in the villa. Thank you Dave for allowing us to stay.

Firstly the pictures really do not do this villa justice! It is lovely and spacious with great outdoor space too. You really will not get tired of the beautiful view. The pool is amazing and much bigger in real life! All the bedrooms are a very good size with the master bedroom being particularly spacious, with an ensuite and walk-in wardrobe. The other 2 bedrooms share a large bathroom. There was a welcome pack on arrival which was very much appreciated.

We had arranged a transfer with Dave from the airport which went very smoothly. Starting by being presented with cold bottles of water and a spacious air-conditioned taxi (there really is no need for a hire car). When we arrived in Kalkan we were met by the rep from the management agency who then took us to the villa.

It is in a lovely quiet location but within a couple of minutes by taxi to the centre of Kalkan (at a cost of no more than £3) or if you can manage it in the heat it is a (mostly) downhill 20min walk into town.

Within a 5min walk are bars, restaurants and a couple of small supermarkets (there is a small Carrefour in town). Our favourites were Cafe Vita (who also do a delivery service if you don't want to leave the luxury of the villa) and Brothers. Both had great friendly service and excellent food. When you venture into town our favourites were Aubergine and Teras, to be honest too many to mention. But I can safely say we didn't have a bad meal anywhere. The locals are very friendly and cannot do enough for you.

There are plenty of things to do although we just wanted to chill out so can't comment on too many apart from a day we took a trip to the Kalkan Beach Club, which is free of charge and worth a visit via the yellow boat from the harbour and again really good service from the staff. We also popped down to Kalamar Beach club (just below the villa) to try out some of the water sports, again this was very nice.

This was our first trip to Kalkan and will definitely not be our last. Dave was very helpful and made the booking totally stress free with lots of recommendations.

We had a fantastic time and would not hesitate to recommend the villa and Kalkan to our family and friends.

We all absolutely loved this villa; this is the 4th time we have visited Kalkan and this was our best villa yet. The villa was immaculate and very well equipped (we don't usually use a TV on holiday but access to the BBC was much appreciated for the Olympics!). We particularly liked the out-door area and the good sized pool; the view was stunning. Location wise we actually really liked Kalamar - this was our first venture into the area. It was about a 25 minute walk into town, but past some excellent bars and restaurants on the way (we caught taxis back!). There are some good bars and restaurants within a 5 min walk of the villa and the Kalamar beach club is just down the hill. We definitely hope to return.

Loving the villa (even better than the pictures and the description); it's great location, the fab views of the bay, the large infinity pool, the roof top area, the perfect weather, the welcome pack, (especially the cold Efes (Turkish beer)), the comfortable sun loungers, the many tv channels, the help from the owners prior to going, including sorting out a hire car, the information pack, (make sure you visit Saklikent Gorge, Kapatus Beach and the Kalamar Beach Club), in fact pretty much the whole package!

We had stayed close by two years previously but this villa was a big step up and now there are a few more restaurants (particularly Yelken) locally it is even better as a wonderful holiday location. We would recommend this to both family and friends.

This year was our second visit to Jodaruya (we've never returned to the same place before!) The villa really is beautiful. The views from every room are stunning - I never tire of it! It's extremely well equipped with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The infinity pool is amazing - the views as you float around are incredible and there's always something different to look at out at sea. The outside seating area is lovely, a perfect place to sit, read and relax. The rooms are all light, airy and very spacious. The downstairs open planned living is perfect with a comfortable lounge area - including a lovely Turkish corner - large dining table and superb kitchen. The pool is cleaned daily and fresh bread delivered daily which is a really nice touch. It's ideally located in a quieter part of town but within 20 minutes walk you can be right in the heart of Kalkan with all it's restaurants, bars and shops. One of our favourite restaurants is half way between the villa and town, Aqua providing amazing food and superb service (and mean cocktails!) - the staff couldn't make you feel any more welcome if they tried! I was in regular contact with the owner before our trips and he was so helpful in making recommendations of places to visit and things to do. A must is a day boat trip out of the harbour - a fantastic day out with superb food. I have to say that in the 20 days we have stayed in Kalkan we are yet to have a bad meal. The quality of food and service are second to none. I have 4 teenage children and I can't recall one single negative comment from any of them, during either of our stays, regarding Kalkan or the villa - they absolutely love it - that's recommendation in itself! We will certainly be returning!

This was our 4th visit to Kalkan but our first to the Kalamar bay region. Would definitely recommend this villa, it is really well equipped and the pool was the best ever! We especially liked the comfortable outside sitting area where we spent many relaxing evenings,my bro in law enjoyed many morning swims which were just a short walk down the hill to the beach, we hope to visit again in the hopefully not to distant future, so glad we booked this villa!!

Jodaruya is really a very special place for many reasons: villa comfort and facilities; location in Kalkan (and within Turkey): local villa service and helpfulness of Dave Fisher (the owner). All in all we had a fabulous 10 day stay at the villa – more or less perfect in all respects.

Our party was two families of three (in-laws/out-laws), which the villa accommodated easily with no feeling of being squeezed-in. There is plenty of space and areas to get away from it all if you need to. All three main bedrooms are generously sized, nicely furnished and decorated (with AC, which is a must). Downstairs is massive and very well equipped – again furnished and decorated to a high standard. Outside, there are a number of seating areas to the rear of the building, one in the front and one on the top floor. The main area to the rear overlooks the bay, which is superb given the location of the villa – above the others in the local area – an uninterrupted view. The pool is really exceptional – generously sized with an infinity effect looking out to sea.

The villa is located in the Kalamar Bay area about 2 km from Kalkan. Kalamar has local restaurants and hotels and few shops to keep you well provisioned (the shops have the same prices as those in Kalkan – and you can change money at a good rate (forget the banks!)). There is the so-called Kalamar Beach Club, which we didn’t use but has diving, skiing, jet ski etc. facilities. ‘Beach’ is an exaggeration as all the coast in Kalamar is actually rock. Next to the Kalamar Beach Club is another beach club (free). Nice for a swim – the water is great. Both these clubs are short 5 min walk from the villa (down a steep hill – the journey back needs some determination but well worth it!).

Visits to Kalkan are a must. A lovely place with really (genuinely) friendly people. Originally Greek village, its great place to explore. Plenty of restaurants for all budgets and the usual souvenir shops. Try the market on a Thursday (you can buy the ‘usual’ stuff). A boat trip is really worthwhile – for a day if you can. We hired a boat, which takes you sedately around the bay – and the crew looked after us really well (cooking was great!). You can walk to Kalkan, about 20/25 minutes, which is OK in the evening. For the less enthusiastic taxis are easily available with fixed fares.

David was very helpful during booking. He organised pick-up at the airport for us for stress free trip to (and from) the villa.

This was our 4th visit to this beautiful well equipped villa. we wanted to take all the family this time to see for themselves just what a fantastic holiday this is. The views from the villa are amazing, kalkan is a lovely town with some fantastic restaurants and cafes, the local beach club was very popular with the younger family members. Can't wait to go back again next year but have been told i will have to take the whole family again.

Jodaruya has the most amazing view of Kalamar Bay from every floor of the villa. It is extremely stylish and well equipped for the most enjoyable Kalkan holiday you could wish for. Excellent service and location with an easy 20 minute walk to Kalkan centre.
